About RVA Rap Elite

We are where pure HipHop nostalgia meets modern design, technology and social media. For us its about the culture. It’s about lyricism. It’s about talent. It’s still about bars! Our live events are all ages, and the emcees in our cyphers have ranged in ages 15 to 47. Artists travel from all over the state and beyond to participate and compete in our live events, and to rap in the Open Cypher. Our live events are a variety HipHop show which includes Emcee battles, live cyphers, live performances, beat cyphers for producers and much more! We have been featured on CBS 6 news (twice), Richmond PBS, Style Weekly, and RVA Mag to name a few. We have also collaborated with World Emcee/Team Backpack. The movement doesn’t stop with our live events though! We also have a youtube channel where we display the footage from our live events along with skits, interviews, and music videos from independent artists in VA. We are all about the artist! Our goal is to be the most valuable platform for Virginia Hiphop aritsts, and fans of HipHop culture worldwide! We are starting in VA, but we plan to take this movement all over the world!
